Someday’s I would love to just buy a spot on a Yoga Retreat or some sort of retreat to help me get through my stressful day! Retreat is defined (thanks; Your Dictionary) as the act of giving up and withdrawing or a time away in a quiet and secluded place where you can relax. My bank account quickly reminds me that relaxing in a secluded place is not an option... Instead of flicking through social media torturing myself with photos of that retreat I really wanted to go on, I banned myself from social media for that week (mainly because I was jealous AF) It also occurred to me, why should I pay to go on a "retreat" for one week out of the year.. that isn't going to help the other 51 stressful weeks of the year. So with this in mind, I decided to make my own retreat... Mind Retreat.
So today I am excited to announce that over time (I am not very tech savvy.... I still don't know how I put this website together!) I will be launching some FREE resources that helped me! They may not work for you and that's fine... every body is different, remember that! The idea of Mind Retreat is to help create a clearer vision of what it is you want, reduced the bullshit that you don't, how to get what you want and enjoy every day.
Like I have said before... I am not a psychologist or dating expert so please do not take anything I say for gospel... I am just an ordinary girl talking to you, telling you about those conversations I have with myself and other topics that almost everyone with depression & anxiety go through but are too scared to voice.... The idea of this blog is to encourage everyone to have "that awkward conversation" and know that it's not that scary... And the idea of Mind Retreat is to encourage steps towards change. I get it, depression & anxiety is scary AF, so I hope these resources can help inspire you to take the next step towards happiness.
